Margaret* was an accountant before she became physically unable to work last summer. Facing homelessness if she couldn’t pay her rent, she turned to her town for help. Unfortunately for Margaret, her town wasn’t following state rules for its local welfare program.

Homeowner Assistance Fund: New grants in partnership with 603 Legal Aid from the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority and the Governor's Office for Emergency Relief and Recovery are allowing us to offer expanded legal services to renters and homeowners who have suffered financial hardship during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
