Who does NHLA represent?

Our program was created to provide civil legal services to those who could not afford to hire a lawyer. We serve all New Hampshire residents - citizens and non-citizens alike. See Legal Services for the areas of law we cover.

Any information you provide will be kept confidential. Individuals and households with income within an established percentage of the federal poverty standard, and with assets up to certain limits based on household size may be eligible for legal services at no cost.

Seniors 60 years of age and over, regardless of income and assets, are eligible for legal services at no cost.NHLA may not be able to take every client who applies, even if they are eligible, however, due to budget constraints.
