New Hampshire Legal Assistance is not affiliated with the public defenders office but does recognize and support the important work they do. New Hampshire Public Defender New Hampshire Public Defender is a private, non-profit corporation providing legal representation to individuals charged with homicides, felonies, misdemeanors, and juvenile delinquency. New Hampshire Public Defender is appointed by the courts to represent qualified individuals in need of counsel and is committed to providing the highest quality indigent defense services to its clients.
